Look for this new aircheck
Click on the 1977 Survey hashtag for a September 2, 1977 aircheck. I was still adjusting to the new format and was pretty free with commenting on news stories. It was also shortly after taking over Morning Drive from Bill Supernaw. I let this one run to include a full newscast with Dee Lawton. On the tail end is the sign off for another morning and as I closed with a couple of news bits you can hear Ted Stevens chuckling in the background. He was getting ready to jump into the chair and Ted always messed with me during shift change. He's also goofing around during the 'Fab 50's' meltdown. That clip is located in the cart machine stack on the JML page.
Also look for a link to the Mike Ahern "One on one" show interview with Bob and Tom as they talk about how they got started on JML. Would have been nice if they mentioned the call letters.
